Call for Papers | Asia Pacific Translation and Intercultural Studies

Asia Pacific Translation and Intercultural Studies (APTIS) has been published in Britain since 2014 by Routledge Taylor & Francis Group. It intends to provide a transnational platform for Asia Pacific scholars to present their researches in translation studies and to forge closer ties with scholars in the other parts of the world, and aims to enhance academic investigations and further the exchanges of translation and cultural studies among global theoreticians and practitioners. The journal lays a unique emphasis on its aim to present an authentic and original overview on translation and intercultural studies in Asia Pacific region. It will cover a broad spectrum of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences: literature, linguistics, history, art, media and communications, cultural studies, political science, international relations, sociology, and anthropology as long as the focus of discussion is on translation and culture. Paper Submission
Authors can submit papers at https://www.edmgr.com/rtis/. To submit papers at the online Editorial Manager® system, new users can first create an account. Once logged on to the site, submissions should be made via the Author Centre. Online user guides and access to a helpdesk are available on this website.

Instructions for Authors
●     Asia  Pacific  Translation and  Intercultural  Studies accepts research papers;  case studies; book reviews; translations of stories, poems, and plays.
●     A  research article will be of  6000-12000  words including tables,  references,  captions, footnotes, and endnotes. A book review will not exceed 4000 words and case studies will not exceed 8000 words including references, tables, captions, footnotes, and endnotes. A translation of stories, poems, or plays will not exceed 4000 words including references, tables, captions,  footnotes, and endnotes. Manuscripts that greatly exceed this will be critically reviewed with respect to length. Authors should include a word count with their manuscript.
●     Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order: title page (including acknowledgements as well as funding and grant-awarding bodies); abstract; keywords; main text; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figure caption(s) (as a list). Please  supply  all  details  required  by  any  funding  and  grant-awarding  bodies as  an acknowledgment in a separate Funding paragraph as follows:
 For single agency grants: This work was supported by the under Grant .
 For multiple agency grants: This  work  was  supported  by  the    under  Grant  ; under Grant ; and under Grant .
●     Abstracts of 200 words are required for all manuscripts submitted.
●     Each manuscript should have 3 to 5 keywords.
●     Section headings should be concise and numbered sequentially, using a decimal system for subsections.
●     All authors of a manuscript should include their full names, affiliations, postal addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses on the cover page of the manuscript. One author should be identified as the corresponding author. Please give the affiliation where the research was conducted. If any of the named co-authors moves affiliation during the peer review process, the new affiliation can be given as a footnote. Please note that no changes to affiliation can be made after the manuscript is accepted. Please note that the email address of the corresponding author will normally be displayed in the article PDF (depending on the journal style) and the online article.
●     All authors should provide a photo along with a short biographical note under 150 words.
●     Authors must also incorporate a Disclosure Statement which will acknowledge any financial interest or benefit they have arising from the direct applications of their research.
